The City of Swan Undertook a Regional Active Open Space Statement of Strategic Direction for the purposes of securing a consolidated area of land for major sport and recreation infrastructure to meet emerging needs in Ellenbrook and the surrounding urban growth corridor.
The Swan Regional Open Space Statement of Strategic Direction was produced as a practical and useable reference source for staff for the purpose of preparing annual work plans and capital works bids. It incorporated innovative planning outcomes that address community needs and expectations and provide a sustainable management approach for the Council.
