A review of the existing aquatic and recreation centre which was running at a substantial funding deficit. Significant data was obtained in relation to efficient practices in all areas of facility management and delivery. This included amongst others: building functionality; user trends; sustainable building practices (including building management systems); sustainable business practices and appropriate management structures.
The recommendations are individually justified based on a sound evidence base and are currently being implemented.
