The Benaraby Motorsport Master Plan for Gladstone Regional Council arose from a need to develop and protect a precinct for the provision of a variety of motorsport disciplines. An existing Drag Way and motocross club were located on a site adjacent to a tip and there was pressure to accommodate a new speedway facility and additional Trail / Enduro / 4WD / Off-road users within a regulated and controlled site.
